Speculations?
Whats the max it can be? 10k euro per bitcoin?
I'm 21 years old and I invested +-10k euro from all the money I earned with an online shop.
I Would be very glad If I can buy a house with in over 5 years. Or 50% of it. It makes live just so more easy.
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

I think 5-10K $ or € per BTC looks plausible.

I would say $10k would be the 2-4 year outlook. 5-10 year may be closer to 100k

It's hard to say really. Think of how accurate your price outlook would have been a year in the past, and try to speculate that uncertainty for a decade and you get the idea. As much as I love Bitcoin, I wouldn't pin my retirement plans on it!

Be grateful when you double your money. Most people would and should be. Appreciate the true value of Bitcoin by using it when you can and replace it with more Bitcoin. That's the way we grow the value, by letting merchants know that accepting Bitcoin will improve their business economically.

10 years is impossible to predict, but next-to-everyone in this forum believe that Bitcoin will reach 1,000$ within two years (I think that's safe to say). So, be gratefull when you double your money.

I believe that is a safe prediction, double your money. This is what I'm thinking on doing, keeping 1 or 2 BTC (as a investment) and them selling/buying like a regular market.

I don't know, I find difficult to believe that BTC will reach US$ 10.000 when more and more business are accepting them...

That's the issue is getting over the 'I find it difficult to believe' part.  I'm still doing it and slapping myself in the face each day when I wake up and see the price.  Like $500 now...wtf.  I remember it at $5.  All I hope is that it won't ever go back to that.

Comparing BTC with any fiat is dead wrong. BTC already worth some six digits in Zimbabwean dollar. It would be better to use an ounce of gold or an acre of land.

BTC / gold or
BTC / 1 acre of land in WA or NY

Looking to buy a verified betfair account with escrow.

I recently read a discussion that if a Satoshi would be worth $1 the sum of all Bitcoins would be 5 times the sum of all world currencies altogether - so I doubt that the price will rise that high.

Why use an acre of land as a measure of value? Isn't it's value unstable as well?

According to various charts with the projected logaramithic curve for new technologies we are on track to be $1000 USD per coin early 2014 (maybe sooner) then at least $5000 by the end of 2014 and then it should reach $10,000 USD by 2015 and then it will vary depending on what the true peak of the curve is.  Some people speculate that it will get to $100,000 per coin but conservative estimates are about $30,000 USD.  With the fast growth we are seeing though it might be showing us that the new height is more than we expected so perhaps the $100,000 per coin is not unreasonable?

All that said, the next two years will tell us where we are going.  HOLDING for the next two years is probably the best decision we can make so we can see where it really is going.
