I know that decentralization is a key feature of security for the PoW concept.

Are we okay with this because it is a public, non-malicious actor?
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Yes. That is indeed dangerous. Having a pool mining at 60% is a threat to the coin and until that is corrected I don't see how investors will trust Siacoin at all.

If they want the coin to succeed they must do something about this soon.
