Example:

1. A group of people who need their own encrypted channel.
Let's call it "XXX".
This channel "XXX" corresponds to the real Ethereum address (created for this example):
0xAde7663DB354fb71e46D3D3dcdB0BaBcAd89bF76
2. Each "member" of the given channel is given a nickname, which also has its own specific Ethereum address.
3. The group member sends a message to the channel (you can send images) - TxHash:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x57b987f3d5ad5c65fb15435ad8632ba187684a9ce5e6957f1485e3f19cba35fe
Click Convert To Ascii and follow the link.
(the time of this transaction was 1 minute)
4. The key-password of this channel for decoding is as follows:
Quote
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
Till we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
in our yellow submarine

We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
Copy and paste into the password window. Result you will see for yourself.
5. The participants monitor «XXX» channel.

Plus:
- All participants are anonymous (for other persons).
- The channel can not be closed.
- No licenses and state registrations are required.
More precisely, they can not be imposed on this channel.
- Services hosting providers are not required.
- Third-party applications are not required.

Minuses:
- Fee for Gas. In this example, it was: 0.000140962 Ether ($ 0.09)
- Not everyone can use this tool, but this is a plus.
- Data transfer limitation: max ~ 45 kb.

To send a message in this example, MyEtherWallet and MetaMask were used.
The time taken to send this message took 2 minutes.

Of course, there are other drawbacks here.
But this method works.

What other alternatives can you offer?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Telegram is crap and they want my phone number to send me a pin-code which is nothing about my privacy plus
it has become clear that Russia wants the keys or they will ban Telegram because other governments are already
being given access to these so called "End to end keys"

I am working on a network that is decentralized and truly end to end encryption using Secp256 on the network that
provides SOCK4/5 interfaces if your interested in writing the message app and don't want to get involved in node discovery

Why would anyone want to pay and this leaves a digital paper trail anyway

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

I think, unfortunately, not leave a trace is impossible, given the development of technology.

I think, unfortunately, not leave a trace is impossible, given the development of technology.

The TOR network was a good attempt in it's day but they have not really moved forwards and the CIA
have taken over many of the exit nodes but that's because they have so few so in effect it has become
centralized.

You can (like me in the past) offer to become a Tor exit node but little to no traffic will get sent your way because
the internal rooting has clearly become controlled which is just what we have seen with mining pools
here on Bitcoin.

Encryption once the data gets past Intel Chips and Microsoft's/Google black box code offers the solution but without
letting TPTB put a cuckoo in the nest (Fake-book, twatter, Youtube) it's difficult to get anything going.

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

completely agree,it is amusing as P.Durov positioning himself as a "freedom of internet" fighter
meanwhile sending end to end keys to the govermental agencies at his own discretion
now that Russia openly asked him to do same,he,suddenly, became a knight in shining armour
the only thing he is concerned about is his market share and profit
also he must have some grudge against the russians, since they are, probably, the only country that doesn't have the backend access to the "most secure messenger"  Grin

I am sure that in the next year or two a new decent decentralized messenger will be created, which will meet all the demands of the current users. Let's just wait a little time!

Therefore, we must solve this problem ourselves.
But do not see other offers so far.

Ideally, these messengers should not be one, but three, five, ten, etc.  Cool

There must always be an alternative.

I think that this is the telegram and there is such an instant messenger that there are some disagreements with the authorities.
