Q for miners as regards price

So price is "high" again right now i assume miners of all types are making profit at this price?

Basically my question is BTC couldnt ever go to say $10k each right now because the miners would make too much free money at this point in time - is this correct or can the difficulty jump up say x20 anytime soon?

wasnt LTC profitability pretty sweet when price raised?

did i read somewhere else that BTC can only go up 400% difficulty < hmmmm guess that is alot though

i want to invest long term in BTC because i cant be bothered to trade it anymore.... now seems like a bad time to do that lol
