it's under a ddos attack, as is btcchina and they are trying gox too.

So what is the next best altcoin exchange? mcxnow.com?

Do we know for sure it was only a DDOS attack? Why is it taking all day to switch to a different connection?

Well at least BTCChina and Mt.Gox data feeds are still working on http://bitcoinwisdom.com/ whereas the BTCe feeds are still down.
