Dwolla Call

Hey,

I got a call from Dwolla yesterday and returned it today.

They said they were verifying account information.  Oddly enough this has never happened with paypal or other similar sites.

Anyone else find this odd?  Did anyone else get a call as well?

Others have reported similar calls here. Best to ask for a number (and verify it as an accurate Dwolla number) and call them back to avoid phishing, but it could well be legit. There have been reports here of people defrauding Dwolla, and it sounds like they are verifying accounts to prevent similar fraudulent activity occurring.

I got an email stating that they are requiring Photo IDs now for ID verification. So I'd say its pretty normal
