Hello,
it has been about 6 months since my account was hacked and I sent proof of ownership. I really hoped to recover my account that is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=48852

I have really tried to the community over the years. Here are some of my previous posts alerting to scams.. I know there's a couple others, but from way back.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1855720.0

Here is round coin today https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/round/

Hopefully the admin's can help me some time. But seem to be losing hope as it has been about 6 months ago since I sent the proof of ownership

Best regards,
Brian

Hello Brain,

I really can feel your frustration however there are very little you can do. I think the forum needs more mods cope with the number of issues increasing everyday. We just do not have enough moderator for all of these.

Would you mind giving a feedback on my proposed suggestion: [Proposal: prevent account hack] A complete new login system for BitcoinTalk. It's really related to account security.

PS: Good luck in recovering the account.

Be happy be at peace. Looking forward to BTC at $1M

Did you send proof required from this thread? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0
If so, all you can do is wait.

Yes I did (Just checked it again to make sure). I think we need some more mods on the forum. I wouldn't mind helping out some and I have a pretty good track record for being a good community member.

Thanks for the feedback guys, hopefully someday my account will be back.

Moderators don't deal with this sort of stuff It's only theymos and cyrus who can actually recover the accounts. Although, it's probably a good idea to get someone else to pitch in as judging by meta recently many people have been waiting for as long as you have been. Though, I guess these things take time to investigate and make sure that it's being given back to the rightful owner. A signature probably is only a prerequisite and more in depth investigations are likely taken out on the account.

The only thing you can do for the time being though is bump this every 24 hours, and keep sending the message to cyrus every week or two.

Any updates so far? I'm curious if you gave up already? sending PM's to Theymos/Cyrus every 2 weeks with an updated signed message won't help but at least will add some pressure... it is sad, I know  Sad
Also bumping this thread it might help a little I guess, here is a friendly bump from a user that has also been hacked and still waiting for answers.

Just buy a new account. or start fresh. Ofc, due to the circumstances, I would recommend buying one.

Bad advice.
