Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I had a lot of trouble sleeping, but even still I missed the crash from 620 to 550... and it's gone... Annnnnnnnd it's back!

Picture was stolen off twitter...thought that was obvious. Did not expect that much reaction.

MB, this is the thing. Im pretty sure some people are actually doing it in order to keep up and try to cash out if this is a bubble. I need weed to calm me down they need coke or speed to keep up. hehe
