I've been having some trouble getting the minirig going. I've tried literally everything from connecting a usb cable to my pc to running straight off the nexus 7, i've also opened to the case to see if there is any loose cables. No luck on all accounts and Easyminer always says Number of devices = 0. There is only 1 female usb port in the back of a rig which requires a Male A to Male A. My pc doesn't recognize anything. I've tried VCP / zadig etc... nothing works.

Anyone have any thoughts?

After installing VCP driver from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm and connecting it to your PC, does it show up in device manager (assuming you use windows)? Under "Ports (COM & LPT)" ?
