https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/04/23/hong-kong-singapore-welcome-chinese-icos/Although China imposing restrictions of using cryptocurrencies to its people , truly that everything will be done into good purposes when Honkong and Singapore are welcoming Chinese to freely continue the growth of crypto into those mentioned countries through fundraising , when they can sale tokens and bitcoins for exchange of goods and services. Some kind of great move to China to look forward a good haven where they can regulate bitcoin exchanges.

Their people had no choice than to move out of their home country. Hong Kong is a very friendly place for investors where you can register your own business for as low as 1000$. Given the immense wealth of Chinese investors, moving to Hong Kong was a sweet deal. The price of Bitcoin was lower in Hong Kong and higher worldwide, so they made even more money through arbitrage. If in future my country bans bitcoin, I will consider relocating to one of the aforesaid nations.

I thought that Singapore isn`t crypto friendly at all and they will implement new regulations and taxes over the crypto companies under their jurisdiction. The Chinese government has some level of control over Hong Kong and they won`t let all the chinese to export their crypto holdings oustide China. Anyway,Hong Kong and Singapore are the best places to create a business, and it would be great ,if they become more crypto friendly.

Singapore and Hong Kong are very open to any business as long as it is profitable and not harmful to the public. many people from Southeast Asian countries are investing their money in the country of Singapore, including investment crypto, gold, diamonds and others.

Yes, Hong Kong and Singapore are very successful in promoting cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. And in the future, perhaps, will be one of the leaders in this industry. After all, it is still unclear with China what position they will hold in the future. Why do countries like Singapore support cryptocurrencies, you ask? It's simple. Look at the history of Singapore's" economic miracle." From the beginning of the flourishing economy of Singapore, his government is using all possible tools for economic development.

Yes indeed hongkong and singapore are welcoming crypto looking at the rise in number of companies launching ico. They have proved to foster the chinese bitcoiners since china have shut down exchange sites. Singapore was the "3rd largest ICO launch pad" last year. Hong Kong investors is said to acquire some of China's bitcoin exchange.

It is always a good option for the exchanges to move out of China and settle down in Hong Kong and continue on with their business, if they are not having any plans to come up with a regulation i am sure companies will start moving out and that is the case with all the countries that are trying to restrict the use of the new market.

I think that soon China can put pressure on Hong Kong and force them to block bitcoin. Then all bitcoin holders will have to flee to South Korea

It seems to me that Singapore and Hongkong are very expensive cities for living and mining. It is better to choose South Korea

This is true since the banning of cryptocurrency in China huge bitcoin holders as well as exchanges and mining farms have migrated to other countries. I have heard that some of them went to Japan and to other countries surrounding China. Also Hongkong and Singapore is one of them and they are going also to follow the footsteps of Japan in terms of bitcoin mainstreaming.

I think if someone wants to earn big money from Bitcoin, Hong Kong may be better than Singapore, because politically speaking Hong Kong is still a part of China. In Hong Kong people can keep close connection with China but still keep freedom of action. If blockchain/cryptocurrency can really help Hong Kong for its prosperity, China government will support it even it bans blockchain/cryptocurrency in China. Of course I must say in Hong Kong risk of political intervention from China is a bit high.
For Singapore, people should keep more freedom than in Hong Kong. But there are many competitors around Singapore, and the prosperity of Singapore will be affected by the prosperity of China(The Belt and Road Initiative). We should pay some attention on this.

that news is mainly about ICOs and since Chinese govenrment banned ICOs since they were scams people have to move to other countries that have not yet banned this type of scam to continue their work there. otherwise people who are using bitcoin (what you called bitcoiners) are continuing to use bitcoin wherever they are since no restrictions were placed for that, only exchanges were closed.

Ico ban is found around several countries in the world, the regulations were under jurisdiction on several countries. This is to have a healthy environment for the growth of technology along with the legitimacy in functioning. Because, over the past lots of ico go as a scam cheating the investors who cannot do anything once lost.

Yups, hongkong is a mature part of china in which they are more open for every people and every changes And they see how singapore progresses upon accepting the presence of cryptocurrency. China wanted all their people to be just nothing but a laborer till they die while hongkong and singapore wanted precious time for theirs
