i am send 0.01 bitcoin from my account on bitcoincz and its not happening does it take a day for the transfer to happen or is there something wrong with my wallet i using bitcoin Qt

it is up to date and has 8 connections to bitcoin network.
now i know instant transfer is not happening. thanks

I sent some BTC from localbitcoins.com to cryptsy last night. it took 3 hours! that was with 10 confirmations...
