This name is a steal! We were recently bidding on a similar bitcoins.gtld domain name that the user wanted $50,000!

A real bargain.
I remember a year ago when users here would say that my domains were worthless and my prices over the top. Funny considering that I traded bitcoins.net for a domain worth over $100K and sold a .biz for close to $3K.

mars.net is worth 100 K? Yes it would be. Simply because of the giant mars corporation which owns cadbury etc.

To generic to cause issues with trademarks unless the owner stupidly put up something to do with there business interests. Don't forget mars is a planet and the name of a mythological god before it became the name of a chocolate bar. Used in one of these areas or something unrelated to there business and the company wouldn't be able to lay any claim to this

Correct. I am actually considering selling it after renaming my project.
