Is ETC the next big moon ?

Hi everybody.

I recently checked the ETC price in satoshis and it seems to be very low. The last year it spiked to 930/940k sats and now its 220k sats.

And their roadmap seems very promising. And the devs seems to work hard.

What do you think guys? Should I take some of it?

I haven't checked their roadmap for a long time, I am sorry but bitcoin cash is more interesting than ethereum classic, for me, ethereum classic is under performed coin for some reasons, maybe because of its development.

This month they will release the beta version of emerald wallet and disable the difficulty bomb.
In may they will do a Working prototype of Sidechain and
Enable new Opcodes for compatibility with ETH.

And many more during this year.

I realy thing its the sleeping giant lile LTC in 2017. Dont u?

Undoubtedly Ethereum classic is the promising project but more than 1500 altcoins are available in the Crypto platform so most of the peoples are forgot the right platform. It is slowly growing Cryptocurrency so it takes some time in complete growth. Still many peoples are investing in ETC so this will also going to moon.

I did not forget about ETC, I keep about 7% of the total mass of my investment portfolio. I do not expect rapid growth, but by the end of 2018 I would have liked to see x3.

To invest in it should be a personal decision and investment into crypto currencies is a very risky venture. You should not put your risk capital into it without proper analysis. Ethereum classic is one of the coins that was predicted to perform very well in 2018 and holding them should be the best thing to do.

Etc will rise in price. But I think it will rise same as other altcoins.  I don't think there will be an event or an announcement or a special development which cause Ethereum Classic price to rise more than other popular altcoins such as Ethereum, Bitcoin cash, Dash and Monero.

at the current price of it is much cheaper and it will go back to x2 or x3 in satoshi very soon .
so holding it for x3 is good idea and then sell it and buy some new alt .
but for long term i think it will be beaten by other projects .

Last moon of ETC was owing to Callisto fork/airdrop hype. It does have an active dev team so should go up with the rest of the crypto market.

The dev, team, and roadmap is very promising indeed... It went 30ish in the recent months and there is no doubt it could pull the price back to top anytime or anyday soon. Just wait for the whales to have an apatite.

Ethereum Classic will be one of the choices for miners when Ethereum will be fully switched to POS. Then we will definitely see ETC`s price growth

ETC is a very good project. But what do you think about Callisto? Can it replace ETC? Callisto seems to be a very good project. It is actually POW, but it is also going to be POS. And the amount of Callisto is limited compare to ETC and ETH which are unlimited.

forks of eth btc or any other coins cant be bigger tha thier original. and cant be make bigger profits.

if you are consider ETC becomes the next moon coin and it looks like not a strong reason. How ETC comes from the DAO fork and it's not having any utility or ability to the token holders.
A fork coin will never worth to become your portfolio. I will still choose another crypto rather than ETC, it looks so difficult to consider ETC as the next moon coin.

I think it will surely reach the old heights of 900k satoshi plus, and from which point it will definitely aim for 1 million and above. That's always the case with alts, and ETC is definitely one of those that's waiting for its time to gain prominence and recognition, after staying so long in the shadows of ETH. I have to admit I personally know almost nothing about this project, but from what little I do, it's a bit sad that the events leading to ETH's creation had to happen. I think it's just a matter of time before people find out about the history and realise its significance.

I think there are still many altcoins who are much more likely to develop from etc. we see just like ethereum, litecoin, bitcoin cash, and several more are still better than etc. may indeed be impressive, but I think for the long term.

The recent rise has not benefited much. For me, investment policy is for taking unproven projects.
