Bitcoin is a market for investment and it will make a profit and give us a lot of money but to say it is money I think this is not true.

I understand you perfectly because bitcoin was created initially to be used as a digital currency but right now most people are holding as an asset. Well let us not give up hope on this great idea which was born by Satoshi. I think a time would come when most institutions and organizations would agree to accept bitcoin so that people can use bitcoin in their daily transactions.

Only casinos or big projects are paying in bitcoins.

Rubbish.

Many normal individuals, like myself, are paying for things in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is hard to use as a daily payment, but that does not mean bitcoin fails as a currency. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, so its use is not like fiat currency.

It is a misunderstanding of many people. Bitcoin will not be destroyed. Cryptocurrency role is very much of bitcoin. Bitcoin will live forever. For many months the price is low, so many people think bitcoen is falling. But I do not think that, bitcoin will come back in the past. Prices have started to increase, the current price is $ 7400. The price will increase further, the use of bitcoin will increase day by day.

I don't think bitcoin failed as a currency. We cannot compare it to fiat currency because its virtual and its serves a different purpose. As long as virtual transaction is concerned, I think bitcoin is doing fine.

Bitcoin will not failed in any aspects on the crypto currency. If these coin failed, why bitcoin will remain on the no. 1 spot in the market cap.

Bitcoin is strong, best community and service in the industry of digital currency.

No, I do not think so. Bitcoin will survive in a limited world. Bitcoin prices have started to grow now. I think prices will rise further at the end of this year, the price of last year will cross.

I think Bitcoin is currently the currency that is a digital currency. If Bitcoin is not a currency, automated people will not be able to invest bitcoin. Because all these investors are looking for profits with bitcoin prices that fluctuate up and down.
Most likely if everyone in this world knows about the vast bitcoin information, I'm sure this bitcoin will be the real currency of all countries.

I think that bitcoin is our money in the future. In new few years most people in the world will be using cryptocurrency and beat going as well as a famous of them. If you want to feel benefits you must invest into it right now.

Bitcoin is an online virtual currency. It has no real existence outside of internet. Bitcoin's price is always heavy variable.
If Bitcoin's price was at a fixed price, it could have become a real currency instead of fiat money in future.

I don't think it failed as  a currency but maybe the time is not up for it to be used fully as digital currency where people could spend it in their daily activities. We just have to give it sometime for more platforms to announce their acceptance of bitcoin because that is the only way it can be used as a currency, to purchase an item and for that to happen there has to be some platforms to accept it.

The OP is not talking about the price. The OP is talking about the use of bitcoin as a payment system. Even if the price rise 1000 rimes, that problem must be solved.

Yes it didnt fail to be a currency if its then it didnt help many people in their financial need like me. In fact bitcoin has a big role now in any one who used it because it provides money that we need in order for us to survive. Bitcoin was so useful and very benifcials so how did you say that it failed to be as a currency?

Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I like to think of bitcoin as the best currency for large sums of money as the fees incurred here are way below what fiat service providers would charge, but the problem with most of us is we choose to use bitcoin for micropayments which we require almost instantly as we want it to compete with the likes of mastercard or Visa but right now its not yet there but with LN it might stand a chance and be used as a currency by everyone once more.

failure is an expression of unsuccessful, I strongly agree if Bitcoin fails to become a currency, but Bitcoin does not fail to become a type of investment whose prices even beat the gold price and generate new traders.
so, Bitcoin is not 100% failed...

I believe that bitcoin can not become a currency like USD, you can see that bitcoin prices are constantly fluctuating and the number of bitcoins is limited, very little on the market so I think bitcoin is not enough for The whole body is used. I think bitcoin is just coin mediation so you can trade altcoin and dollars, the value of bitcoin is also pushed up by this myth.

We can't say Bitcoin failed ss a currency . Bitcoin had provided the environment for newer projects to leverage on . The one major issue I have with Bitcoin is the amount of energy it consumes when processing blocks .  This has really affected it from being fully accepted in the realworld .
