Bitcoin never failed as a currency because it is supposed to be a digital money to be used for online market / transactions. Some people think that bitcoin is too bad to be a currency, because the media/internet is ruining the reputation of bitcoin. They say that this thing is just a scam and useless, which in reality, it isn't. That's why governments are still unsure whether to make bitcoin as their legal currency to begin with. Hey but who knows what the future holds. Bitcoin might be the flow of money in the global market, and prove people wrong of what they think bitcoin is. People just use bitcoin as an investment now.

BTC is far from being a currency; it has to be regulated and stabilized first.

However, regulation will demolish one of BTC's pillars: decentralization.

Which one do we choose; regulation and stability or decentralization?

In today's state, bitcoin cannot be used as a mass means of payment, and in the future such as I believe will not change if not be more hard fork.

Yes, a strange question because bitcoin is like the basis of crypto-currencies. He is the most popular among all though now he is clearly not in shape. But in my opinion he will soon return to his top.

Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

We've called bitcoin plenty of terms already but it is mostly used as an investment. Many people has already succeeded from their investment here in bitcoin and I think we should atleast appreciate bitcoin as an investment. Maybe it has failed as a currency but still it is making a way to prove people that it's worth to be called as a currency in the future.

Me and some of my friends prefer to call bitcoin as an asset since the chance for bitcoin to be currency seems won't be allowed in the near future. But, although bitcoin can be used as investment only, that is already enough for me.

not In my opinion Bitcoin will only be our virtual asset and bitcoin will not be a national currency but bitcoin is made just for a form of investment so bitcoin will never become the national currency

You can not say this about the currency for which you have the most part of the capitalization of the crypto-currency market. The number of investors and its correct development will leave it in the first place. And that it takes time.

If bitcoin fails as a currency, it will also fail as an investment in long term. Now people invest in bitcoin due to its potential to become a global currency. If it is proved that bitcoin won't be a currency, there won't be a high demand.

If you want to understand what is going on in the market of cryptocurrency you should use the new platform -  Cryptics. It is a cryptocurrency exchange rate forecasting platform, that is making predictions on a base of analysis of collected data from more than 100,000 sources in social networks and 400 technical indicators. It is able to make a daily and hourly forecasts for the crypto market (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and more) with 70% accuracy. I think this is really cool. The sad truth is that this is actually true. People see it as an investment only which is not the sole purpose. I hooe this changeon the long run

I think it's too early to talk about the dimension of bitcoin, because at the moment bitcoin is in a sideways trend! Therefore, price changes in the range of 6-10 thousand dollars will be for a long time. Growth can be said at the moment when bitcoin is fixed on top of the mark of 10 thousand dollars.

If it's said to fail it seems not because after seeing the great development that occurred from the first until now it can be said that bitcoin has experienced great success as a crypto currency
