Yeah it's possible that we may touch the $10k again this week. But will we be able to break it within the next 6 days? Mmhh not sure about that.
If we should, expect us to move straight up to 11k at least.
If we get rejected, we may see another testing the bottom and some ranging before another attempt to break the 10k will happen.

I like how people change their view on the market on a daily basis. Not that long ago according to people we were going to see $4000-$5000 levels, then after the increase to +$8000 they were aiming at $15,000 and now suddenly the $10,000 level seems to be more difficult than what they expected. That's what allows market movers to play with people here, and keep doing the exact opposite of what they believe is going to happen. I love it.

most people specially around these parts are doing this because it is somewhat their wishes. they usually have some plans or maybe even some orders set up at those price levels wishing to fill them if possible so they are always spreading their wishes to others in form of a speculation.

It really looks like it. The market as a whole seem to be doing really well, and it doesn't look like there will be any FUD-worthy events in the foreseeable future. Even traditional investors are seeing buy signals. We may actually be looking at a bull run.

But yeah if there's one thing we know about Bitcoin, it's that things could change in a heartbeat. I've actually started to be optimistic about being out of the recent bear market, but you never really know.

I see areas like this as Magnetised.    Kind of how you look at the target and it becomes a focus for activity.  So I do expect 10,000 but its how it achieves this level that matters.    We could spike upto 10k today and I'd not be as enthusiastic if it just hits that price point as a ceiling like a person who bumps their head on a low doorway.   This is not good and it'd fall back and need to get back off the ground.

Most bullish is usually a big bar that goes right through resistance, but also slowly working way up would be positive over like the next fortnight for example.   Even a month would be fine imo, I do not see a negative from a price that flattens and forms a base for a while

Yes people are like weathervanes.  Its why most of us are not the best traders unfortunately.  Some foresight of underlying trend is need, price is just a mix of opinions.

Probably Bitcoin will hit 10k before the end of this weeks or maybe in the next two days.
Bitcoin price is soaring and it seems to be unstoppable right now.
All we need is more money in the market, and as every one noticed, there are new investors joining every day because they believe that the current price is too low and they think it is the best time for buying.

I personally don't see anything special in reaching the $10,000 level aside from the fact that we are then noting five figure levels. From current levels to $10,000 is less than 10% and thus too insignificant to be excited about for me. The only valid option from my point of view, especially when it comes to most of the people here, is to keep holding and just let the market do its thing. Trying to trade the market will most likely end up in a big disappointment with how literally everything can happen right now. Holding is the safest possible option.

Probably you mean on that few users that open threads with bombastic titles "Bitcoin to 4000$ at April 20" or "Bitcoin will be around 4000$ in April",They are just spreading FUD because of ignorance or they are paid for that,and now they hide in a mouse hole and wait for the next crisis to start again.

You should know that numbers are very important to people,so 10 000$ works on a psychological level and will attract the attention of many potential investors and of course the media.

It is possible to reach that price this week,but I think we will see same thing like it was for 9000$ level-many days price will be close to 10k$, but in my opinion it will not touch that level this week,maybe in next 7-10 days.

I could see a correction happening before $10k, so it might be another two or three weeks before $10k if that happens. Then by the end of May I think it'll be challenging that resistance point between $11.5k and $12k.

I am done with trading for a while since I have taken the necessary steps needed to grant myself that bit of freedom. Currently the media and wannabe investors are already allover Bitcoin with positivity and predictions ranging from $25,000 to $50,000 before the end of the year, we don't need the $10,000 level for that.

I think it wil go up to 10k by end of May but dont expect a craze like last December.

It is not possible to predict  when the price crosses $10k, if we have the same momentum then it is more than enough to get the price above that valuation, $10 k might become a barrier to cross, we have seen these kind of barriers earlier when the price reaches a landmark figure and if we are able to cross that valuation now we might see another rally before a correction which might even take close to $20 k.

Of course from your perspective 10 000$ is not important,you are just holder and I guess for a long time(5-10 years)-I am in same situation,but as I said before that number is important in a psychological sense for the market.Speculation regarding price are present almost on a daily basis,but they are just speculation if anything is not true behind them.

We can see today that price is go up to 9700$,but then is returned back to 9300/9400$ range-reality of the market is easy 1000$ up in a matter of hours,but also it can go down for same amount even faster.

Bypassing the $ 9,000 price is a result of daily trading as the price rises to 8200 or 8700 or returns to 7800. Exceeding the bezel of the price is an important factor, ie, jumping to $ 10,000 as a new stability point.
If we look at market cap, we find that these rises are the result of large speculations in the price that means it is temporary and the market will return to stability point.
Personally, if the price exceeds $ 9700, it will move to a new stability point at $ 10,000 ($10,000 to $12,000).

Apparently, there would be dips, but technical analysis is not always that bad in predicting the movement of the market as some people have always said, but I feel you can at least use some discretion as well even with the whole technical analysis even while trading. However, the possibility of us hitting $9800 is possible if we can at least get to shoot past the $9400 zone and the reaction on that $10k may actually be a rapid one in whichever way the market decides to take from there.

Breaking $9k was indeed a very good signal that the bulls have really been doing a great job in moving the value to this extent, but at the same time, the only time I get to see us moving of this and not expecting some further downward movement is breaking above the $10k and $12k which would of course cause some bullish movement. There is still a lot of time to wait anyway, so let's see how all these end up panning out but the market has been looking good, no doubt!

How about recent dip to 8700$ from morning 9700$?I do not see any connection in what you say about hitting 9800$ and past 9400$,price was above 9400$ and it almost get to 9800$ this morning.Like always whales play very nice game by pumping price close to 10 000$ and then dump coins/make profit.This is likely to be repeated more times,big players can pump price anytime,then dump coins and enjoy in easy money-now is not question about 10k $ level,but how to get to 9k $ again.

I think that we have a chance at hitting $10k this week, but the probabilities aren't that high.

The resistance at $9500 has proven to be very strong. Markets have already tried to test the $10k level in the morning, but correct down to $9000 during the day. That pretty much shows to me that the rally is going to halt temporarily at least.

The correction will probably go on for at least a few days, before retesting the level. Personally I don't see enough momentum for us to decisively go through $10k and have support at that level in the near terms, but it can happen later on in the year.

My take is that the price would consolidate at such levels and would continue to stay at that levels for weeks before taking on a push. We've hold above $8500 for a couple days now but that alone isn't enough to say that we're in it for the good gains. Bitcoin proved time and time again that it can actually fuck up any 'plausible' events that traders are anticipating, that's why it's best to still keep a keen eye on how would the events unfold. Holding would still be the best move, though picking up some coins along the way isn't gonna hurt especially if you're eyeing for long-term gains.

Yes, according to my experience, the bearish trend of cryptocurrency market ended.
Because not only the Bitcoin price bounced after it dumped below $6,000 (the lowest price in last 6 months), the price of Altcoin are also bounced after that time.
Ethereum price has returned to $700 from $300 just within 2 week, other cryptocurrencies also bounced with a growth rate is 2 to 5 times.
And in the last year, in May and April there was also a mega bullish trend in the cryptocurrency market, I think this scenario will happen again.

We're again testing this level today, and I don't see any sort of momentum right now that can topple us over. In fact, the entire market is just stagnating at the $9400 zone without much growth going on.

And understandably so, because this rally has simply been going on for too long without a major correction. That major correction, in my opinion, will come before the $10k level is hit, and take us down to the $7k level again before any resurgences. The resistance at 5 digits seems still very strong, and market sentiment isn't as bullish as last year. I definitely wouldn't bet that it breaks $10k this week.

There were resistance as it failed to break the wall at $10k zone but we are still doing great. Let's hope that we are in same plan to hold our bitcoin for a better price.

i disagree with both of these.
it doesn't look like resistance to me, it is more like an accumulation phase where the whales are continuously buying bitcoin while keeping the price at the same level as best as they can so that they can accumulate more. this phase is one of the most  common phases before a big break out.
and regarding the drop i have to say if we were to see a drop we would have seen it each time price tries to go up above $10k and fails not after it went above it. everyone who wants to panic dump they are doing it now with each manipulative dump to prevent the rise.
