Most of the people try to get more amount so they choose the best one. For the large profit people invest on it, they insist on to get more. Do you search the Altcoin, DO you have such patience to wait for long time? Who need more money or to find the alternative option propel create Altcoin and invest on it that increate the ICO industry. By the way beside the growth of coin you also find some spammers who try to make money by the false new. So if we involve with Altcoin we must conscious about Altcoin.

Some teams lose their motivation to work hard after the successful fundraiser. Why work further and develop the project, if you have already collected more money than you can spend?

money can make everything be changed and all kinds of ways will be pursued for the money. scam and all the fraud that exists and is very evident in the numerous current time whose primary purpose is money. see odds on ICO's very attractive to many investors then they make the scam with the aim to get money for free.

Why are there so many assholes in ICO industry? Hmm, to be perfectly honest.. Money can make people into bad or an assholes rather. Because of this, assholes create scams to earn money and to tricked people. They don't think about what will happen on those people who have been a victim of their scam. They do this just because of money.

That is so obvious that those people are everywhere. I mean, come on, a human with so blind mind will see a cent coin and steal it. They just want money.

I think the reason where there are so many assholes in ico industry is just because of money. Many people do no want to be controlled so they bring up their fake and dubious ideas, package it well and even get good marketers to attract many people and at the end, they give stories to investors who have sacrificed their money and time to promote the project. Necessary measures should be taken before investing in ico.

Probably all is easier than it seems - money.  They force some people or a team of people to do amazing things.

This article is very accurate though could use some clear examples. But it's no secret that the ICO world is run by what are essentially cartels full of used car salesmen, and if a project chooses not to deal with them they send out hit men to post "scam" ad infinitum. No big deal. Good projects overcome it.

Simply this is happening because people are still buying their products (currencies mostly) and they just get profit on it, without getting into a prison.

Because I think the ICO industry is currently in a very early stage, so the lack of legal regulation, all kinds of people are free to raise money.
so this is a very dangerous.

The author had a cry of the soul. He says that scammers don't answer questions and so on. This is also not an indicator. Remember the Envion project. In the telegram group all admins answered all questions, they were the most amiable that I only saw. This project was supported by many advisers. There was so much noise. And it turned out to be fraud with very big problems for investors. In the realities of today's situation in the market, nothing can be a guarantee that you will not fall into the hands of scammers.

we can not avoid that people really do not know how to get involved and what they know to do is especially to deal with the bitcoins they are talking about because they do not understand why they think differently than just like we know what ICO really is but so please let them find it.

I got to the third sentence in that article before I determined that it was so poorly-written that it would burn my eyes to continue.  Who writes this shit?

So I'll do what the rest of you fucks are doing, which is to answer the thread title--and it's already been answered as good as it's going to be:  MONEY.  Why do you think so many assholes are working in the highest echelons of the corporate world?  It takes a certain amount of aggressiveness of personality to get there, just like it does in crypto.

Except I would argue that corporate assholes are a bit more intelligent and refined than their crypto counterparts.  Many of the former have graduated college and are at least educated, whereas most people I've seen in crypto are either complete idiots or are self-educated computer nerds.

The other reason I can see is that you have to be a bit of an ass to deal with the enormous number of scammers.  Nice guys & gals get eaten alive if they don't develop a thick skin.

LOL!

Isn't it hypocritcal that he writes an article about how there are so many assholes who try to defame him and here he is defaming others?
It's true that the fault you find in others is usually what you yourself have.

As far as the asshole question, it is mostly people who are "experts" who really aren't experts at all.
There isn't really any way to verify someones blockchain credentials since crypto is really new, and the demand is so big that ICOs will quickly hire untalented hacks.

It really shows in ICOS.
You don't really realize just how bad some companies are until you come accross a legitimate, professional, smoothly run company.
The differences are like night and day.

If you yourself want to avoid scams and assholes, than just have higher standards for what you expect from a startup ICO.
Demand professionalism and if they can't do it than walk away.

That question sounds funny but very unfortunate. There  already are lots of assholes in this world we live, you find them in every walks of life inwhich only a few migrated to crypto. The quest to make Money make people lose their morals and conscience so no suprises.

This is, unfortunately, a space in which being an asshole is predominantly favorable towards your goals. I can give you examples like Ver (bitcoin.com), Ayre (coingeek) or Wright (nchain, aka faketoshi), but I feel that would be cheating.

most of them are utilizing funds from investors for their own benefit, after which there is no progress from the project and they disappear. that is what makes the investors disappointed and also participants who participated in the ico. but not all of them.

Lol. I really love the content and how the article writer reiterated on the word 'ASSHOLE'. The fact is that those who fall for ICO scams are indeed Assholes. There are some projects that scam is written all over them and still you get to see some investors donating to such project and that can be worrying.

It is normal to have such people anyway, since it is a decentralized space with a lot of inexperienced investors, but what happened to learning and understanding the space before going ahead? I guess some are just so much in a hurry to get rich quick, to the point that they just fall for anything easily, which makes them a real deal and target for scammers.

With the way things are, from some investors to some project owners and to advisors, we just cannot stop seeing ICO assholes, can we?
