Smiley With China hoeing in and the Feds giving a general thumbs up, things are now looking good for Bitcoin.  I listened to the whole senate hearing and I must say "Impressive" to the US system.

Looks good for Christmas, I am guessing Bitcoin to $10,000 USD by Christmas.

The US Senate Standing Committee  complete hearing can be heard here:
http://www.hsgac.senate.gov/hearings/beyond-silk-road-potential-risks-threats-and-promises-of-virtual-currencies

There are now 15 days for further comment before the hearing is closed and decisions made. But its looking good, thanks mainly to Bitcoin's transparency and effort to maintain integral goodwill.

I love this business.

Bitcoin is known for doing the impossible. I do not think $10,000 is impossible. Infact, it's highly probable.

Probably but when?  I think it'll reach a stable 1,000 this year and won't hit 10,000 soon unless India comes online for it.  However, the nature of how something like this can grow is meme like.  I think it's possible that i'll hit 10k next year but more likely hover at a few thousand....less than 10k.  I'm certainly not betting against that though.  Wink  It seems like we're holding steady at high $600s to $800s right now, with a peak of $900.

I say take whatever you think Bitcoin's going to hit in the next year, and multiply it by 10. That's what Bitcoin keeps doing, over and over again.

More like highly unprobable.. 10,000 is a lot of money, making many many people multi millionaires.

I heard somewhere that it was only one senator in the hearing. What does this mean?
