While we are at the final stages of releasing version 1.0 we are already looking ahead for version 1.1 where the release topic is translations.
Our initial focus is Chinese, Spanish, German, Russian, and Portuguese.
We already have volunteers for everything but Portuguese

If you know Portuguese or someone who does please help us out

Is there a bounty for translations?

Are you going to do European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese or just looking for Portuguese?

There is no bounty. We were hoping for volunteers for a a great free bitcoin wallet.
To be honest I don't know how big the difference is between European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. Would European Portuguese be a good starting point? I imagine that  Brazilian Portuguese is pretty close..??

As a brazilian, I would vote for Brazilian Portuguese if you have to pick just one :-)

I need to say that you guys are doing an excelent job with this wallet, I started using it a couple weeks ago in order to test an application in the testnet environment and I really liked it.

If you allow me to make a suggestion, why don't you show the numeric keyboard by default when the user is sending a payment ? The way it is now one need to choose the address from the address book and then tap the keyboard button in order to type the value of the transaction.

Regards,

Adriano

Yeah, it might be good idea in the future to make the distinction, anyway, I'll volunteer a few of my hours translating.

Will send email in a few moments.

Yes, there are big differences. But I think that you could just put both!
BTW, I've mailed you, as you requested.

Maybe someone can check the translation done by pedro or Jay and change only the (hopefully few) words/phrases which may differ in both versions.

I can try this if no one else show up as a brazilian volunteer.

Yes, we can try to make a "generic" Portuguese, it will depend on how much text we have to translate.

Our initial focus is Chinese, Spanish, German, Russian, and Portuguese.

Looks like additional translations are now being supported.

From a post in this Issue entry on GitHub, translation contributions for Mycelium are made using Crowdin (by invite only though).
