To all... Now since BITMAIN provided me their sales rep email, I can directly contact them from now on. Hopefully I can announce the price by 3 days (not guaranteed). I know how you guys feel, I am very excited about my first group buy too!

how is it that you're having direct contact with Bitmain and everyone else (including myself) can't even get a simple reply from them.
would you mind please sharing how to contact them directly.
I don't want to compete with you as I'm in Australia, I'd like to organize group buy for Australia or just buy to sell in Australia. 
Should be enough interest for all as there's lots of interest in the USB miners.

I realised (my assumption) is that BITMAIN will not log in just to answer pm, unlike me When he/she is online, send him messages. He will reply most of the time. That's how we communicate until he/she gave me the email. Also the email does not reply faster than the forums.

I could ask BITMAIN to dispatch the #1 batch of miners to my HK address so that I can start shipping them once I get back to HK. I think this is the quickest way.

But you're not going back to HK until 13th of December? If shipping were to happen on the 16th of December from HK which is probably quite hopeful then we're not looking at receiving them until the 23rd of December which is probably unlikely due to Christmas postal service in the UK...

That's a massive difference between getting them in the next few weeks.

I was really interested in buying about 20 if the price was right, as I said in a previous post, but I can't commit if we're not going to get them till the end of December / start of January

If I get the price from BITMAIN now and somehow they can ship the batches to me within 3rd Dec, I will be able to start re-distributing to you guys immediately (or next day if i got it at night). HK Speed post offers 2-5 days to all around the world. And If I am forced to be able to ship in HK but not in the UK, you guys will probably (mostly) get it before christmas.

I know this is very disappointing, I am trying very hard to get the price from BITMAIN asap and am continuing to do so until they can give me / you guys the answer.

bitmain has scored on his second auction  30 large units at about 5 btc = 150 btc or 120,000 usd.  my guess is he wants to keep his business in the 180gh units.

 my guess is the usb sticks may never be available as long as he keeps getting  5 btc/4150.00usd  for a 180gh unit…

knc sold  550gh units for 5000usd.  bitmains markup on the 180gh units means he won't have to spend time selling sticks.  not your fault cxboyminer just  a simple  business move on bitmain's part.  oh well

correction  this was a uniform price auction so the price was 4.75 btc each  not 4.98 btc average  that is 142.375 btw for 30 units close to 116000 usd for all 30 close to 3900 each

I finally got a reply about bulk buy of Antminer U1's from Bitmain yesterday, was during the auction.

and his reply was:

Hi merv77,

We want to sell the U1 in bulk and let the distributor to resell it. I have ask suggestion and pricing information with many resellers. Could you please give us some opinion to us? Our info@bitmaintech.com is viewed by 2 core member of our team, as well as this Bitmain account.

did he ask you same questions?

$4000 usd for 180 gh miner..that is expensive.

I would be interested in buying 100-200 of these usb miners and i live in HK too. The price would have to be competitive with Red/Blue furies though. I have a list of manufacturers who can vouch for my reliability as buyer. OP, i have sent you a PM

 so 1.6 x 22.22 = 35.55   would be the minimum possible.

I wouldn't entertain that price, especially for re-selling.  I'm not into ripping people off on eBay or anywhere.

I like to be honest and explain how much the devices I'm selling would make back, even if some buyers don't care or don't understand.

If they are over $50USD for a single miner just for a hobby to try out then I might go with that, but in bulk they'd have to be much much lower price.
If not, they can keep them and do the work them selves selling them on eBay ripping people off.
