We are waiting for BITMAIN to finish the testing of U1. Then they will announce the price.

Well I for one prefer to wait .  Since I really do not like the preorder idea.  So far Bitmain has shipped the s1's as none preorder I prefer that the u1's are sold that way.  So I am waiting with patience.  I look forward to testing these against the red fury bitfury sticks that I have.

I hope that these have better  quality control them the red furies have had.

Agree with philipma1957. Hopefully i can meet up with those people in Hong Kong when I go back to HK in around 12/12. I will then hopefully see some prototypes and put up some primary sources (photos) here for you guys to see.

I just hope it is flat, reasonable price, rather than this auction racket.  No offense to Bitmain, but like others I grow cautious when I see lots of super-new members throwing large bids around, much like everything at the beginning of Bitmain it has a weird feel to it when you know and see the same names around Custom Hardware all the time.

Fingers crossed for $[ROI > Price > Hardware Cost] so everyone wins... and phil can sell 'em on eBay.

Personally I'm looking to get a few at a flat price. If it's a bid I will be going elsewhere. Seems like Bitmain has a legit product, however it's a shame they are capitalizing on the Bitcoin Fever that's sweeping in.  I would bet they will be able to sell all their devices at this point anyways, because it seems like we've hit a point where older products have been exhausted and new products are a few months away. However with this bid situation, I have to agree with reactor, it seems fishy, a bit strange, and a little desperate but time will tell.

I am definitely interested. Maybe up to 50 using paypal if the price is right, depending on delivery dates etc. Christmas is going to hit and be a pain in the wallet.

Do you think the correspondences with Bitmain are a forge?
what does it matter where he ships - as long as the unit price stays the same and everyone pays for their own shipping?

anyway - there won't be any sale until the units are in hand,
and by then we will all get pictures of them to validate the authenticity of this GB.

So you can try to organize your own sale & you'll probably have to prove that there is an interest for a large quantity - to get bitmain's interest (like shown in this thread).
but I'm sure everyone will be happy to buy the units from the first person that has them & is serious in selling.
