self claimed gurus always think like this! that is why they are self claimed in first place. you need to seriously consider ignoring all the bullshit that is flying around out there and start having your own analysis of the market. most of the people who are doing this so called analysis and prediction of bitcoin is just telling your their wishes. i am willing to bet that all of those who were saying it will drop to $6000-$5000,... had open buy orders at $8500 and wanted THAT to be filled!

There are a lot of "gurus" in this forum who states what would it be like for the bitcoin in the upcoming days. Self proclaimed experts who predicts without any basis or proofs of their claims because they only rely on informations that is currently happening.

That's pure speculation in anyway,Some who called "Gurus" or whatever they call is just trying to speculate the movement of price of bitcoin,The price of bitcoin are only depends on traders and supply and demand.As of now i see that the price of bitcoin is in the normal range and perhaps it will started to increase if some good news will appear

Let them predict. Everyone has their own predictions and 90% of them turn out to be wrong. The truth is that no one knows what exactly is going to happen next, and everyone keeps speculating the probable events.

The only truth is that the market is here to stay and we would not see the price of bitcoin going down from the current price of 8800$. At max it can go down till 8000$, but that would be it. The price is now stable after years and it will stay like that. Do not expect miracles of reaching 50k.

In fact, I do not believe that some of the master said, it is not clear how much bitcoin can go up.

Last year there was a master to predict the currency will reach $500000 in 2018, although we cannot predict what will happen, but I don't think the currency of the price will be $500000 this year, $20000 is my expectations.

That lower and one more time, its not possible at all. I mean its been long time bitcoin was already draining itself and now the time has come where its just all about the bull market. There could have been another bear market but bear market doesn't follow itself after big bear market. 

I mean there are some calculations like investors getting  into the crypto at bear market and then flooding the market with huge volume thus initiating another bull run. This is what happening right now, its just that we are experiencing some in between panic sells causing the fluctuations. That is pretty normal.

But no one can ignore the importance of speculation for the market movements. Anyway I'm not ready to believe that bitcoin price may again reach $5,500 price levels. Because, the trading volume in most of the major exchanges are healthy which will be the 1st to signal for upcoming bull rally. Most of the people are expecting bitcoin prices to reach previous all-time high price levels hence $5,500 may be never be possible again.

It's not impossible in cryptocurrency that price can go deep like you said but of course, I hope it's not gonna happen, the market is back to normal after we got a big dump a few months. Hopefully, this is the end of the dump and back to normal again like before

Nowadays everyone with a twitter account is claiming to be a guru, a pro-trader, an expert and many others.
Can you please link to those "prophecies" , so that we can see who those "guru" are?

I don't think the bear season is over yet.
There were so many fluctuations between 8k and 9.5k this week and every time we passed the 9000 mark people turned bullish only to see than the next day we were back on the same spot.

Maybe the worst is gone but  I guess for a period we're still going to see swings around this price, unless somethign bad happen.
But...I'm not a guru...

I am a bear, but I do respect the opinions and rants of bulls. But no offense, the true guru traders are claiming that we will have a bearish 2018. Bitcoin might hit $4k or even $3k. Then this would be the last dip, then moon. Altcoin will experience the same fate.. All crypto will go down, year 2019 to 2020 is the most wonderful year for the crypto.

Not anymore cause the price of bitcoin will dip down to such price range and if you watch close the price of bitcoin whenever there was market correction that price usually don't go behind pass market correction price range.

That is only possible in dreams now. During the recent dip, bitcoin has provided this opportunity to all but most of them thought that it was the end of the world and did not bother to spend money in this digital asset. Now wishing for that same time again won’t bring it back. Even if bitcoin or whole digital market bleeds more than expected or stays for months, still coins will recover.

The chance is already gone for long now. It is almost impossible for bitcoin to decrease that much and honestly, when bitcoin was worth 5k dollars few days ago, everyone was like it is the end of bitcoin and only few invested in it. Now desiring for such chance again is mean. They don’t understand bitcoin at all and show zero respect. The markets has moved forward now.

I think they are disappointed and felt regrets not buying and still thinking BTC might get down even more than 6k USD. Those gurus are losing their mind and sooner they'll loss all their mind if they see bitcoin reach new ath and they're actually fooling theirselves. Obviously, what they said has nothing to do with the price yet they're trying to make noise so people will panic because they see everyone now that's calm and relax. Don't believe them instead believe in your guts.

I see that this post had started last month and that was before bitcoin made a break out, however there is still some chances that bitcoin might go down around that value, since there has been a statement released by mt. Gox before that they will sell all the bitcoins they have to the owners, there will be a drop on the price of bitcoin, since there will be a surplus in the market, they might be saying it because of it, I for one am waiting for their release, since the price will be cheaper, then after a few months, a correction will be made and the value will rise. But as of now, we are seeing that bitcoin is recovering considering the fact that one of the factors that bitcoin went down was when mt. Gox release around 8000 bitcoins, if I'm not mistaken, and the value of bitcoin soon drop.

These self proclaimed "gurus" dont know what theyr taking about and just spreading FUD in order to suit their own agenda.  If i were you i would completely ignore what these "gurus" have to say and i would base my price predictions on the technological aspects of bitcoin and crypto.  Furthermore, it is still very possible that bitcoin could hit $5500 but i honestly doubt it will.

I hope that we have already seen the bottom. That is why I am not buying Bitcoins now (I bought them before). I am waiting for the time of BTC gaining.
