Buy only coins you BELIEVE in.

Belief comes when you know your coin...research the heck out of it then buy when you are content and believe it will gain value over time.

No matter what happens after that, you will feel secure. Smiley  Good luck!

First you should know that emotions is not good in the cryptocurrency industry because if you're getting controlled by your emotions you may end up making decisions you're not aware of (It's just from my own experience) well I've learned something when my emotions start controlling me here are:

• When the markets go down for a week, I set an alarm for at least 2-3 weeks and won't open blockfolio or any thing where i can see the cryptos price.
• I just forget it for a while and opens it after a month, etc.

Well this is just my own way but it depends on the person itself on what way he/she can control her/his emotions. If you really can't handle your emotions here in the crypto tradings or crypto industry then this is not for you. You should practice and be familiar with the markets volatility because this always happen all you need to have in this profession is to have a lot of patience... a lot.

I do three things to properly time an exit from a coin/token.
- I always do my own research on a coin/token and assess its potential.
- Based on the coin's potential and overall market situation I try to estimate a reasonable exit price (rather an interval of exit zone).
- If a whole crypto market goes down, sit on your hands, believe your research and wait ..

Wise traders know that exit is more important than entry.  Wink

I will give you now the best way to handle your emotions in the cryptomarket. Befor trading the cryptomarket you should register Forex accoun and learn trading currencies with high margin requiremens. And this will be very tough to do the good trades. You will see then what does it mean - REAL TRADING. After half year trading on FX markets and then going to cryptomarket, you will now worry about cryptomarket fluctuations and trading will be much easier. Stock markets and markets of foreigh currencies will be really a good school before you start trading cryptos!

This is the hardest thing in this market. Psychology decides it all. If you are calm and do not panic you will be rich in this market but it is hard to do that, I am a holder and I do not often see the price of the market. So when prices go up or down I do not care. I only sell when I reach the goal

I know seeing bear markets is sometimes very painful especially recent long bear trend triggered panic selling and discouraged many investors, i think that was the best time to buy not sell, so holding your nerves is very important in crypto market.

psychology in commerce is needed, when the market is in decline, many of the novice investors are shocked and scared when they see things getting worse, you have to prepare mentally and train your emotions, you can try to meditate or relax with your friends

Keep calm and always watch the market, and news site. I was doing it anytime while the crypto gets rekt. I currently try to do some research regarding what was making this correction. And i found nothing about that.
It seems like this is a correction after a big bullish again. Another bullish will be coming soon.

In the short term it can always go up and go down, as I am long term investor I don't give a shit what is happening in the 2018 but if you want to sell your coins in a month you can't handle your emotion.

I was just get used to it. I basically stopped looking charts for a day or something when markets are shit in bear run. I stop talking about it around and mostly put interest on different things like books or just video games.

You wouldn't have a hard time handling emotions if you just invest to the right token that you know one day will move up but this is for the holders only. The day traders are going to handle themselves differently and if he shifts from token to token, its going to be a lot riskier which means an investment today may   not profit the next day. You'd easily handle your emotions when trading on major coins like BTC and ETH.

i discard it completely. i set a target price with a vague time frame. before it gets to where i want it to i fully expect it to go all over the place. that's part of the business we're in. if you can't hack it then don't play.

Only invest what you are willing to lose the entirety of. Losing whatever that amount is shouldn't elicit an emotional response from you since it shouldn't affect your life in too significant a way.

I think everything done with that emotion will not be good, so cool your mind and emotions then look at the chart and learn, if the market you think will improve why you do not sell it.

Normally I would get out of the computer, to breathe fresh air,
to refresh my mind, and while drinking a cup of coffee for example,
this will dampen my emotions, then I will think of the solution again
then to plunge back into the crypto market.

Mind conditioning and gain some confidence by researching and studying the crypto that you want to get in and hold for a short or long term, most importantly the second one cause how in the first place would you invest on a coin that is unknown to you? like the other people who recently invested to bitcoin or other popular altcoins without a proper understanding and knowledge about the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, you may lose because of your own ignorance biting the hype and fomo around you.

While down then wait and better hold and believe it for the long haul. when riding the eye set what percentage profit which should be obtained. I think after there is a principle that will be quiet and neat without any sense of panic.
