$11k may still be in sight until further notice. We are presently having a correction, so let's assume this is the normal thing to expect after few days of overbought market, with some divergence on the 1hr chart and the only time we can get to call $6000 is if we probably miss the $7800 support which held us twice on the 13th and 17th of this month and prevented us from going back down. I am however expecting a bounce from $8400 though!

After this corrective phase, and we are able to break back to higher highs and lows, I expect us to go test back the $9700. probably hit past that and go further to $11k or we form a double top around the $9700 - $10k spot which apparently leads us back down. Whichever way, time and trend will tell.

11000$ was something meant to be seen in the future, but now the price is not in a steady state. But currently, we believe it won't go below 3000$ ever. There was a higher rise in price to 20k and there was a huge backlash back to 5k and its getting stable in the 5k number for a longer period. Similarly, the price soar to the moon and it fell and stabilized. I don't think this is a stock market to play with our money to buy at lower price and sell at higher price. It's a digital currency which at some time might revolutionize the world economy.

I expected a small correction to occur. The price was rapidly rising for about 2 weeks. Healthy market needs a correction and it is normal. But I think the price drop has increased due to the news of myetherwallet hack. I think it will not last long and the price rise will start again soon.

Any way, you shouln't expect the price rise and rise and never fall. It sometimes rises and sometimes falls.

I don't think were heading backwards the price to $6000. Sometimes the market needs a slow motion to rise up it's value. I can sense were seeing the $11000 in the nearing months but not this week so calm and don't conclude yet.

I actually find it refreshing to see these threads instead of all the hyped up predictions based on nothing but potential theories and whatnot. That however doesn't mean OP isn't a troll, but one that brings back that what we need, which is someone trying to 'fight back' in times where the sentiment turned almost full bullish. You can't have bullish sentiment without these trolls popping up, where I must admit that I rather see kwukduck back, and not a cheap impersonator, but he's probably still counting his profits after the crazy ride of last year. Either way, corrections help to tame the sentiment a bit, and that was needed for sure in this case. I'll probably be called a pessimist, but I'll take that, no problem....

Its good that you buy when price is low and sell it on an average price rise but as you said another major dip like $6000 is not possible I think in the coming days. I hope the price may dip until $8000 and it would raise again steadily. We cannot expect Bitcoin to be coming back to $6000 when it is trending in a bullish drive. Lets wait for the price trend watching it closely until this month end.

Ironic nick for the OP. Scheduled a nice big necessary sell to afford a few weeks delay and was glad for the hassle as this unexpected boom came. Anyway, I made a 50-50 gain/loss on this current spike, sold a bit when it was on the rise, sold the rest right at the peak I felt it was at (temporarily anyway). But no due cause for concern, small corrections bound to happen just as small spikes.

What else is new, and what else is exciting? Even 11k or 6k in the next few weeks are both equally expected.

The movement price of bitcoin these days were too fast, but I don't think if the price will drop back again to $6000.

Well, after the news about Tax day the movement of the price is changed that I think one of the reasons why the price massively increases in a few days.

For now, the price is stable around $9k if we heard a bad news expect that the price will drop a bit, but I expect to see the price will hit $10k, which is much possible to happen based on my own speculation and compared to the movement price in the past last 2 years before the block halving there is little similarity that is why I could say that the price can be hit again back to $10k.

Meh, a lot of us here thought that the market couldn't push that easily to $11000: only a short number of people believed that fantasy. It was overbought since Tuesday but still the market managed to reach $9600 before climbing back to $8800 which I think is perfectly normal. Right now, we're hovering at $9000 without any sign of aggression from the bears, which I think is a good sign. I'd say wait until this week ends and we'll see whether the price will hold or not.

Also, aren't you the same guy that FUDs every time the market is in a run? You are also the guy who tried to short during a bull run and mentioned that you made money out of it. It's kinda cool seeing you 'buying low and selling high' when a year ago you condemned such acts thinking that bitcoin is trash

If it's gaves you a good return then good for you. No need to have a harsh statement for those noobs as they are building experience. Sometimes it's way more better if those noobs will experiences losses on the way so that they will be used to it and soon will realized what things should be done about proper execution.

And not just that, it's not always about "buy low sell high" as others disregarding that usual term because the purpose is to hold no matter what is the price trend. Now let's see if your spidey sense will give you a good analyzation on your next desire.

haha 6000 yeah right. That time has passed. After two weeks and 50% gain to high 9000s a correction back to 8000s was fully expected before proceeding to $10k. Bear market is over buddy, this is a normal correction during the new bull market. It was going up way too fast without a break the past two weeks considering Bitcoin is nowhere near an all out hype phase yet.

I'd expect 8000s and 9000s for a few days and $10k next week (of course considering this is crypto that could happen by friday for all I know!).

It's hard to believe we are going back to 6k. This was only a 10% drop, less in fact, it's nothing major and is perfectly normal in a one day period. I believe it's just the usual resistance when looking to break through psychological barriers, expect to see the price back in the high 9000s and testing the resistance in a few days.
