Nasdaq is open to becoming cryptocurrency exchange, CEO says

 :)Once the regulation is smoothed out and the space "matures", Nasdaq would consider becoming a digital currency exchange, the company's CEO says.
"Certainly Nasdaq would consider becoming a crypto exchange over time," Nasdaq CEO Adena Friedman says.
In the meantime, Nasdaq is supporting existing crypto exchanges, and announced a technology deal with Gemini Wednesday.

This is great news indeed for bitcoin and crypto currency in general, Bitcoin is going mainstream soon and it's gathering momentum,more positive news coming.

Of course, a CEO saying "sure we'd consider it" doesn't mean it'll happen but obviously the tone Wall Street has had toward cryptocurrencies is evolving swiftly to the positive!

Now, this move from NASDAQ (if it ever happens) would have a much more siginificant impact on the price of Bitcoin and other cyrptocurrencies than the news of the CME offering bitcoin futures had. This move would actionally expand access of Bitcoin ownership to the biggest investment market on the planet. It's huge! Coinbase becomes a broker dealer. People start buying cryptocurrency as part of their 40 year investment portfolio.

This is the third good news , I heard about bitcoin today and seriously I am very happy after hearing these news and now I can say this very confidently that now people has started understanding the fate of bitcoin and has understood that the bitcoin has the potential to be very great and I hope that BTC will help in the digitalisation of India and the world too and obviously it is the popularity and the good deeds that is with bitcoin that people are thinking that much about bitcoin and such a big company like Nasdaq is thinking to open cryptocurrency exchange.
