MEW is safer to me. my tokens and ETH stays there for a very long time already i don't remember it compromised. i feel very unsafe with hardware wallet because i'm careless and i could lose that hardware wallet anytime just as i lose my phones. things that i don't use regularly every day tend to be misplaced all the time or even lost.

u're saving ur keys on ur pc, not on mew storage. so there are 2 dangerous moments at least:

1. ur pc safety.
2. be sure mew is a real mew when u provide private keys to the service.

As spoken many time before, you need to use Metamaks add-on with MEW to enhance the security of this wallet. By the way, please consider about the strange email or the link, it may be the virus from scammers to collect your key. My friends lost 4 ETH in yesterday because click in strange link by email. Please careful

First of all you should not access the MEW wallet by code. Use a hard wallet. Move all the coins on the new wallet

If you have a large number of ETHs, then I recommend that you store ETH in a cold wallet when you are not trading. This is the safest wallet! If you trade every day, please do not arbitrarily log in to any website other than the trading platform! Prevent being infected by viruses!

for such purposes there is a need at least for separate computer with a non-re-writeable operating system (as in ATMs).

I still use myetherwallet in combination with metamask.  I feel quite safe.  If you have a large amount of altcoin token.  You feel scared when storing the wallet online.  You should buy yourself a hardware wallet.  That is the safest way today.

It's either you buy Nano ledger wallets or you make use of imtoken,  I've been clamouring this time without number that you guys should stay away from mew as for now it's not safe,  imtoken is still preferable

don't forget also about ensuring ur physical security. if someone finds out about ur savings, they can try to take it away.

As soon as I learned that the MEW wallet was attacked, I was very anxious and advised people not to click on the links to my wallet MEW in the mail, very dangerous.

The safest wallet is a "cold wallet". If you plan to keep some kind of cryptocurrency for a long time, it is safest to store the coin in a "cold wallet"!

You can store your ethereum in eth related wallet as long as it is safe, secure and reliable, you can also store it is hardware wallet for better security or use the myetherwallet or metamask but you have to be very care with your private key.

Myetherwallet is enough. I have used Myetherwallet and nothing has ever happened to my tokens and ETHs. As long as you save the exact address of myetherwallet. And make sure your computer is free of malware. Then 100% you were safe

The best place to store your ethereum is myetherwallet and you should keep your private key and other information very save and you should not use another persons webvservice to view to data. You can also tore ethereum on metamask.
