I don't think so or better still not any time soon. BTC is the mother of all digital currencies and it is trusted than any other crytptocurrency so in simple terms bitcoin is much more worth than any altcoin

Yes definitely with time altcoins like ETH and Dash has the potential to overthrow BTC.  Dash has to do with privacy and that's everybody concern. ETH is also a potential coin that can overthrow BTC. Just imagine any of those mentioned above having the market cap of BItcoin that's gonna be huge gain and that will draw in the media attention and to the 🌙 they will go.

I dont feel the same way in my opinion as the crypto grows bitcoin price will also grow and it will always outperform altcoins as because most of the altcoins price is related to bitcoins price action so i dont see it happening anytime soon.

I agree.Btc has gone so far already compared to altcoin that is mainly dependent to bitcoin.I supposed that once btc price falls down,altcoin has all the chances to increase.But seems it just followed a price movement with btc.It's very clear now that bitcoin is on the top of cryptocurrencies,and altcoins are just their descendants.

As we can notice, a lot of bitcoin are brought  into public and massive deals of it come into this industry. Therefore,  the possibility of it by which taking bitcoin out the lead, by altcoins, could be possible within such seens.  It is just that, time will be really a factor dealing in it. But this can somehow be impossible if the innovation in bitcoin continues.

I think nothing can surpass to bitcoin because it is the reason of the beginning and it is the mother of crypto. In it's continuously existing no one can replace or leading to it because I think most other  coins are only base and depends on the movement of bitcoin system. Even if how many years will goes by I believe btc will still stand number 1 leading crypto currencies for all time.

for me its not.. and it will not surpass bitcoin.. although sometimes we see an altcoin are much nicer platform than bitcoin, but i think, if the value of altcoin will increased, the bitcoin value too will increase, it is because of the dependency of altcoins on bitcoin.. whatever development they made the value of bitcoin for me will never replaced by altcoins

That is true, mist of the coins are only follows on the movements of btc they are are only depending on it so that means that nothing can replace to bitcoin from the top. Btc will always the leading currencies forever because as long as it's exist and performing better in the crypto market there is no doubt that it will be the best among the rest. Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrencies .

I do not think so. DASH will compete with ETH for its features and performance with the world of altcoin. Bitcoin is special. it will continue to dominate and dominate the market in terms of power and impact on the user community. In the near future, it will be difficult for any penny to defeat the king of bitcoin.

Upon the introduction of altcoin in the market, there are many spectulation that there is a possibility that atlcoin might surpass bitcoin value.  Their spectulation is based on the  concepts altcoin is just like bitcoin (both volatile in nature and powered by blockchain technology) with additional features and lesser transaaction fees.  Because of this speculations, many people compared bitcoin from altcoin.  More investors also choose to invest in altcoin considering that it has a much lower price in the market compared to bitcoin.  

The way how people accept altcoin as good currency as bitcoin brings impact to the cryptoworld.  And as the time goes by, more people interested on altcoin.  Because of this phenomenon, it is no doubt that altcoin might be as valuable as bitcoin in the future but surpassing bitcoin value is another issue. Basically, altcoin's value depend on bitcoin value.  If bitcoin's price pump then altcoin's price dump also and vice versa.

 At present,  Considering that bitcoin's reputation in the crypto market is already established, bitcoin remain as king of cryptocurrency but nobody can predict if this phenomenon will remain in the future.

first you need to define value!
- value = functionality, adoption, usability as a currency?
then it will take a long time for anything to be able to come along to beat bitcoin's value. bitcoin is not just sitting around as the same thing it was years ago it is progressing and it is THE new technology of our time.

- value = market cap?
well it is a simple math problem. you can't get it by price so you get it by increasing your supply. have a price of $1 then simply release 150 billion tokens and you surpass bitcoin's market cap in a blinking of an eye!
but it will NOT be valuable

Already the altcoins are worth more than Bitcoin. Look at the market capitalization. Out of the $390 billion crypto market cap, Bitcoin accounts for only $150 billion (38.4%). The altcoins accounts for the remaining $240 billion or 61.6%. Of this, ETH accounts for $61 billion and XRP is at $31 billion.

There are a little possibility but I think it's not gonna happen as long as bitcoin is exist nothing can replace to it from the lead. Although we know that there are a lot of altcoins that also has a nice platform and it perform better in the market so we can see the potential that it has but when it compare to bitcoin, I think altcoin won't be overpass bitcoin because there also possibility that some other coins are base or depends only in bitcoin system.

No i am not agree with you. Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto currencies and take extra potential. Actually altcoin is depended on bitcoins if the price of altcoins increases then the bitcoin price will also increase and vice versa. In future altcoin will be more valuable but it can never surpass bitcoin even ETH can't surpass it.

I don't think Alt coins will bypass BTC in value anytime soon. BTC is the father of all Crypto out there and it will not cease to exist or completely lose its value. I normally trade altcoins for BTC. People call BTC the backbone of whole blockchain network.
