this does not make any sense how is a 50 50 split on both profits and shares beneficial than just making your own account and not worrying about the risk of a partner?

Not trying to troll. Buying 1/2 GH/s at half current price for half the income is the same as buying 1GH/s at full price for full income. Not a great idea for either you or your partner unless you are taking a management fee, in which case it's bad for your partner.
