Up. Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I never used litecoins, but does it work faster then bitcoins?
It confirms faster, but the confirmations themselves have less weight, so it doesn't increase the security for fast transactions. See this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344914.msg3695471#msg3695471 .

Bitcoin Core developer [PGP] Warning: For most, coin loss is a larger risk than coin theft. A disk can die any time. Regularly back up your wallet through FileBackup Wallet to an external storage or the (encrypted!) cloud. Use a separate offline wallet for storing larger amounts.

melacs  Thank you for that:) We can make the remotely as well, so you could sell it later if you want, also remotely.

wumpus you say that bitcon is more safer rather then litecoin? So confirmation is not enough to be sure that ltc arrived on your wallet?

Wow as a newbie to all this bitcoin malarky. I can only dream of owning 200 bitcoins. If only id heard of this currency a couple of yrs ago. Oh well....Good luck with the sale of the apartment dude. If you do sell for bitcoins make sure the newspapers hear about it. All news is good news for bitcoins
