If you buy shares, then basically yes, that is what is happening. As far as I know, you cannot deposit money in IBB yet.

However, some people choose to pay gratuity. This is usually 10%. I am among those people. So it is not entirely without profits.

we do not have deposit accounts yet. We use investor's btc to give out loans, in future if we do implement deposit accounts, then customer's money wont be used to give out loans.
