Hi yall,

I'm one of the (two) developers at BTfuture.com -- the first bitcoin prediction market. We are currently still developing the site, but we plan to launch a beta in several weeks. We are currently looking for beta testers when our site is finally ready so if you would like to be one of the first members, please sign-up on our webpage because we will close sign-ups again during our testing.

To read more about what a prediction market is read here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prediction_market

At BTfuture, users can buy and sell shares of "events" they think will occur/not occur using bitcoins. Such events include the outcome of sports games, global stock market prices, and the outcomes of political races just to name a few. Think of BTfuture as an "events" market, where the price of an event fluctuates depending on the general outlook as perceived by the people.

If you would like to know more about us or our website, please do not hesitate to ask! I know with the latest events surrounding various bitcoin services, it will be hard to trust another bitcoin service again; however, we hope to earn your trust and be as transparent as possible. Thanks!

Edit 1: Here are some screenshots. This does not reflect the site in its entirety or completion. We are constantly editing and redoing the design everyday.

LeFBI,

Thank you for your interest! We are quite new to the community and are not connected to bitp.it. The page you see right now is our launch site. We will be revealing the website soon, so stay tuned!

Great idea. Make sure it doesn't get used as an assassination market though.
