Geopolitical and financial analyst Warren Pollock says, “What we think of as our government, the voting booth that is just a veneer that is just to keep people placated.

This bureaucracy, I think, is a major vector of theft. When we look at the actual function of our system, it is actually atrophied.” So, how do you navigate a bureaucratic system that is out to rob its citizens?

Pollock says, “How do you get small? Not having a website is one way. Staying out of debt is one way. Not applying for federal programs is another way along with state programs, Medicaid, Medicare, any large debt acquisition.

Getting smaller houses and not getting credit for a new car. There are lots of ways for you to get small, and you will be happier as a result.”

He's totally right. I had a very similar opinion for many years and it's actually becoming a trend nowadays with people building micro apartments, houses that are not attached to foundations, all to benefit from lower taxation and having more money to spend on other things. The times when everybody was building huge houses in hope that their children will be living there and rising their children are long gone. Everybody who did that in the 50s, when it used to be popular, found out that the last thing kids want is to live with their parents forever. They want to be flexible and don't want to have to pay mortgage for 20 or more years.

Sometimes I wonder if governments fundamentally function as some unintentional form of anti Robin Hood. "Steal from poor to middle class demographics and give to the rich." It may not so much be theft as wealth redistribution. There is also Napoleon Bonaparte's angle which says: "Never ascribe to malice that which can adequately be explained by incompetence." Perhaps governments harbor no real malice, bureaucratic aspects of budgeting are simply incompetent in a way which benefits some demographics consistently more than others.

There appear to be many cases where police are cracking down on kids running lemonade stands, people collecting rainwater, growing food on their own properties or otherwise attempting to become more independent and free. They've made it illegal to give food to poor or needy homeless people in some cases. These trends could compliment recent developments where we see attempts to strike down the ideal of the rugged individual or encourage emasculation of men by encouraging them to wear rompers. Simultaneously encouraging people to be less independent while cracking down on attempts at entrepreneurialism(kids running lemonade stands). Not certain if size matters here but it could.

I won't say only US does all this type of shit but other countries do too. Cost of living has become fucking high and the taxes... I don't even have to talk about them. Funny thing with the US is, they keep printing infinite amount of dollars and yet they take the money from the public. I am still surprised that there hasn't been a huge huge riot on this cause.
