I mean I am from Mexico and down here no one knows about it and also is not accepted no where, when do you think is going to be accepted and known everywhere?

And when that happen when everybody knows about it and is accepted everywhere do you think the BTC is going to cost more than what it cost today?

Everywhere as in every single person, merchant, service provider in every country in the world? That is simple: never.

Bitcoin is a voluntary system.  It will never have universal acceptance but then again neither do any national currencies.  Try spending Mexican pesos in Virginia for example.

I think it would be great to see it accepted at some large global chain like Starbucks. But if something like that happens, I think we are still a bit of a ways from that happening.

It will be a long time before it is widely accepted to that extent if ever. It's still so early

When it's de-virtualized.

It's virtualization is what makes it difficult for many people to understand and if you don't understand what it is you don't accept it obviously.

Never because of the limitations in the blockchain, block size and more.

Just do some research on the maximum number of transactions per day allowable on bitcoin.

Indeed.. Just like computers,internet,... people didn't believed and understand it in the earlier days and look now..
We are getting more digital in many ways so it wont take that long i guess.
