Windows 10 flags the second version (OhGodAnETHlargementPill-r2) as malicius.
It does not flag the original version on github as malicious.
Any legit explanation for this ?

Umm, nope. Ethlargment works only for ddr5x memory (1080 and 1080ti). |

There have been other reviewers saying it does give this bump up in hash rate. But they do not get the shares given so it does what it says but it does not increase the amount of ETH you receive. So what is the point in mining with it if you do not get the payment increase? Just like what this reviewer had to say about it after doing their tests using this mod. https://youtu.be/ic2vdYe1sk8At 3:49 he explains what I am saying. |

I think it only changes the memory timing. So not the reported hash rate. |

I have EVGA 1080 FTW DT, and only can get 27MH with +65 powerlimit, +100 GPU and +700 memory. Tested with various drivers and the same result. I have Windows 10 lastest version.

I have been wanting to try it but did not want the virus thing. Anyway my
Titans Xp went from 44 to 61 with nothing else to mod. Again, I touched nothing. Just opened app and restarted ETH
1080Ti is about 46 right out of the box

Ill tell you one thing about this, it somehow bypasses any OC software so you dont get a true reading. My cards run 10X hotter when I run this, yet Afterburner still reads my cards as my normal operating temp. There is no way. The room temperature goes between 10-15 degrees within 30 minutes.
