Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

lol, but its still not even showing up after 10 min in the pending section of bitstamp... usually there is a pending incoming transaction right when u send it

Probably just busy. I did it hours before the price rose drastically a few days ago and it worked fine. Their probably jusy busy

what is going on?  It popped up in pending transactions, and now it disappeared, and the bitcoins are not in my account.  Come on bitstamp
