As a newbie to these forums, I'm unaware as to how to perform some actions in regards to posting.

Editing a post for instance. How do I do it? Is this option enabled only on some forums?

I'm currently running an auction and I intend to alter the first post (mine) as bids come in, to inform any who visit the thread of the high bid. But I can't figure out how to do this. The board help page mentions editing or modifying a post, but I don't see this button anywhere.

I occasionally see "Reserved" posts just after the original post of a thread. I'm assuming it is so that the reserved post can be edited. But again, no dice.

Is this action forbidden in the Auctions forum? Is this action not afforded to me as a newbie? Can posts only be edited for a short time?

I'm confused. Someone please enlighten me.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

You can't edit posts in the Auctions sub-forum, that feature has been disabled there.
