He really standout since he is the only one who have a different view about cryptocurrency. It is good to hear and see that there are people in the Unites States Chamber of Commerce who is positive about bitcoin but still the sad truth is among the hundreds of participants only 1 sided with cryptocurrency. This is a sign that bitcoin still need a long way to go before it can be mainstreamed.

Is it really opposition when they're basically voicing their doubts that Bitcoin could prove to be a viable alternative over fiat? That's basically all the article said. I don't see pushing for ICO regulation as opposition either, considering how bad things have gotten in that area.

But yeah it does seem like Bitcoin is getting legitimacy by the day. Most of the doubts seem to stem from the current Bitcoin incarnation, but things are rapidly moving along that end so let's hope we hit a breakthrough sooner rather than later.

Joseph Otting is a significant personality in USA government that involved in financial policy making decisions. So when he has spoken on behalf of cryptocurrency going mainstream, it holds a significant weight. However, it's laughable when he linked cryptocurrencies to trading cat’s eye marbles for baseball cards.

But anyway, it's delightful to see that cryptocurrency is gaining more support from within the government and some significant personalities are raising their voice for it. Recently Nasdaq CEO Adena Friedman said "I believe that digital currencies will continue to persist it's just a matter of how long it will take for that space to mature,". She added that Nasdaq is open to become a crypto currency exchange. Read it below,

We precisely need such positivity in the crypto market right now!

Just like the internet, it takes new minds to accept the disruptive potential of crypto currencies. Old-thinking will impede the mainstream development of crypto, however, it's the disruptors that will continue to push blockchain/crypto forward until everyone uses it in their daily lives.

This news is full of possitivity about the maturity stage of cryptocurrency, crypto will pull a lot of exposure in the mainstream media that will cause more people to use it. If NASDAQ will become part as cryptocurrency exchange, lots of people will now be interested and soon fiat will be replaced by crypto to be use in daily living.

This is a heart warming news also because crypto has been denounced that it will be and never be a good asset for everyone but now, we can see few people believes that crypto can bring a lot of good news in our society.

This is great news. Society really should have an open mind about all aspects of digital advancement. These dialogues should be kept going so everyone is kept informed, helping eradicate any doubts.
