I'm offering $50 in btc for someone who knows perl and grep or egrep to parse the file and just output the specific data set into another file but just sorted with only data sets that have been specified.

It would have to take some parameters for the search term as the data which would have multiple data sets that are for example 10 lines which the first line would match the search term and the 9 lines below it (including the line with the search term would make 10 lines) would have to be output into another file in the same format except it would only include the data sets that were specified.  There would be other data sets that are mixed in but I would just want to extract that the ones that are specified as the ones I want are mixed into with other data.  Also would be good to have another option to sort A-Z or Z-A.

This should be pretty simple and take someone who knows perl no more than 30 minutes to create.  I've chosen perl as I know that it is a good scripting language and I can make it into a standalone executable to run in windows without any other files necessary.

Please PM me if you would like to do this small project.  The only thing is I would need it done as soon as possible but as it is so simple it should not be a problem and it would be an easy $50.

I will provide a sample data set once someone commits to do the project.  If there are any other questions about what is necessary then please let me know and I can try to clarify things.

Payment in Bitcoins of course, perhaps a bonus for a real elegant script.  Also sample scripts showing your programming technique and style would be good.

Thanks!

Cool, that sounds good, even better if you can put in some simple GUI into it for the "search term", input file name/location and output file name/location.  I'll throw in a little bonus for that but if you want to do this then I'll send you a PM and we can go from there.

Thanks!
