I've been trying out a bunch of ways to buy BitCoins with a credit card, however it seems to be not that easy to do this at normal rates. I found that remarkabel for a currency that has gained so much traction and value. I gave it a try with a small amount through virwox.com which worked (you transfer to Second Life currency and then to BTC) but it cost me over 25% of my investment to get through all the pamyment and transaction fees and get it to my own BTC account. Are there any better options?

At 25%, you might as well buy TF2 credits from this site for $10 per 90,000 credits:-
http://www.tf2wh.com/

And then sell the credits at their sister-site (Note:- this site will be closing soon):-
http://www.tf2whx.com/

That way you buy 1,000 credits at $0.11 and sell for (Current rate) 0.00016800, which, based on BitStamp is $0.1238, so, in fact, you gain a cent.

Although, obviously, this is sub-optimal. It requires you:-
1. To have a steam account
2. To be verified on TF2WH
3. To be willing to give your CC details to just 'some company'
4. Wait for someone to buy your credits at TF2WHX, on a really inactive market (E.G. not good for large purchases)

But, hey ho, worth posting, I guess.

Please ask for a signed message from my on-site Bitcoin address (Check my profile) before doing any offsite trades with me.

I've done some research on CC also and there seems to be no good way to buy BTC. Noone offers it because they cannot do chargebacks with BTC but chargebacks can be done on credit cards and other methods. You are better off doing it via a bank transfer, it does take longer but it's better than trying to figure out a way with CC for days and weeks.

Also if you are using a credit card through some e-wallet that has buddy transfers you can try and find someone to trade with on the forum.
