Bitstamp: national ID document without expiration date

Just to inform you, I live in Brazil and when trying to be a verified user on Bitstamp, they refused because my "national ID card" doesn't have
an expiration date. The problem is: brazilian national id cards doesn't expire! So I'm stuck here.

Why Bitstamp needs an "expire date" even on documents who doesn't expire? Non sense.

Wrong section, but yes there's no sense since they do AstroPay, they must be able to identify correctly the type of document you submit.

But if there no solution, just submit your passport..

I don't have any passport (although I could get one just for this, since I never left Brazil). Couldn't they just accept my national ID card without forcing me to fill the "Expire date" field?

Time to get a passport anyway. If you own bitcoin, you're a citizen of a new world. :-)
