A hard thing to do indeed! LoL

You must not go through the technical stuff. You should mostly talk about the value and future of cryptocurrency, and how useless and stupid it has been to consider cryptocurrencies scam or bubble or...
..or you might be lost your money on it, for me, I'm not convincing people to work in crypto I don't want to blame for those negative side happens. I let them know about crypto on their own maybe explaining a little idea but not the entire cryptocurrencies or to convince them investing crypto because some of the people are not open-minded they expect if they invest it means they quickly earned.
Discovering their own and exploring in crypto is the best way just like what happens to me no one teaches me this.

How do I explain the technology behind the crypto that is hard to explain, I think they know the system, because crypto is a currency system, or digital money, but if they do not know the technology from where they know crypto?

I think you can guide them install  some app like bitpay and send for them 0.005-0.01 BTC and guide them pay online; I think they will love to use crypto that way.

It might be a little tricky to acheive this As many are of the misconception that BTC is just as technical AS IT IS TO TRADE BTC, understanding it is also trouble, some will seem supriced while others will not buy into the ideology, The best way to define BTC for such people is then sating that is a none tounjible currency, like money in the bank with an equal importance to fiat
The best way to make people believe about bitcoins beneficial aspects is to let them see by their own eyes how this works..How?by showing them with youre own lifestyle,i mean let them see how you benefits from this, how you get some wealth and better living just only by bitcoins and cryptocurrency

I've taught this kind of person, and I teach is about the trade. the instant they might understand, however, a few days later it seemed to just be a breeze for them. sometime later I no longer know them continue the things I teach, but most importantly I've shown a true path.

I love the looks i get when i try to explain crypto to a non tech person! How do you guys deal with situations like these?
it would be very difficult to explain something to someone who really is still zero in the topic being discussed, and if it happens to me then I would prefer to explain it while doing the practice and show it some videos.

For me convincing or explaining crypto to a non tech person is crazy hard thing. If someone talk to me and has a curiosity about it then i can explain if how crypto works but in a person that never want to involve in crypto?. Nevermind, I dont want to explain them anymore. I must choose to talk to myself than doing that.

I try to explain crypto to as many people as possible. Someone did to me and thats how i came onboard. If i can do the same for someone else that would make me happy. I see crypto as a real opportunity and with the right research we all have a chance to better our lives.

When I try to explain crypto to a non tech person, I usually skip the technical part so that it won’t seems to be too dry for the person. It might have reverse effect if the person get turn off from the topic.

I am trying to explain how blockchain works on life examples. You must explain person how and where transactions are storing, advantages and disadvantages of blockchain, etc. Don’t tell anything about cryptocurrency and its price. First of all, person should understand how and why blockchain was created.

It's not an easy task to explain cryptos to someone that is not conversant with it at all not to talk of convincing them that it can be a life changing work. Notwithstanding I have been able to teach few of my friends about it and they are happy about it today

I found that its not about tech or not tech. Its about being open minded and curious. Some tech plp are dont want to learn it and already have an opinion. Some non-tech are very open

Of course I try to explain in terms they'd understand but I've found that even that is becoming increasingly difficult. Grin

Do not bother to explain because these people arent going to undertand in just a day, give them reference links so that if they are really going to adopt the technology it will be much easier for these people and you wont be wasting your time and effort.Because those people who are eager to learn will always find their way to learn.

I had such a situation. Talking to a man who knows nothing about cryptography, it's like talking to him in a different language. I try to convey information similar figurative examples, to him was clear.

I try to explain first the basic as the discussion continue I'll go deeper and deeper in details as long as I can see him or her interested i will continue explaining but if saw him or her not interested already I cut the discussion and tell them to make an account first before I explain again the full details.

This is easy to explain if you compare crypto-currencies with electronic money. They can not be held in their hands, but they can be exchanged for ordinary fiat money and you can pay for some goods.
In addition, crypto-currencies can be compared with shares and it is necessary to show how to invest in them in order to earn money.

first I will see whether that person has interested of the crypto currency or not. If that person not interest about crypto of course I will not to be explained about crypto because that's only waste my time, but if the person ask to me about crypto I Will explain it in short, clear and easy language so that person can understand what I explain.

You arent going to get what you wanted to even if you are explaining it too hard you are going to waste your time and effort best thing to do is to give some pointers to them,so that if they are really interested then they are going to find it by themselves you dont need to waste your time and effort with these people because theres a lot of things that you should be doing rather than explaning these things to people.
