Hi, I'm new to the boards but would like to request out of newbie status. I am making this request because of an urgent issue. I bought BTC about 6 months ago then stored it in Multibit. Earlier this week, I attempted to transfer them and found out my password does not work. I know I can't be certain but I was very careful when creating a password for my wallet and private key as well as writing them down. I want to try and get help from the Multibit subforum - it would be greatly appreciated!

I would also like to request special treatment because I have a sense of entitlement. Thank you in advance mods.

Me too, making my first post. As a stakeholder in Nxt, I would very much appreciate the ability to participate in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303898.0.

Ahoy, just the mandatory first post before I can actually contribute to a thread (which is the reason why I registered here).

I am replying because I as well would like to be out of 'newbie' status.  I think having limitations on posting abilities for new members is a good idea, as it will weed out casual or lurking users.  I will wait the required 4 hours to be upgraded to a regular status.

I hope to enjoy this forum and learn all there is to know about bitcoins.  I have started collecting micro bit coins doing simple tasks on Bitvisitor and BitcoinGet.  I encourage everyone else to start an account at Coinbase, it has been very easy to use.

I'm excited to see what happens in the future with bitcoins.

if you're in a hurry, buy someone elses account, I doubt mods will just hand you over a better status, if they would do this everyone would try to lie them about something just to get out of the newbie jail..
