I don't think this is good enough. Hopefully, with the higher price of bitcoin, it gets taken more seriously from now on.

Unfortunately, it's not the low or high price that matters. Surely, a higher price will always help, but for a market to take a currency seriously requires consistency - a price that has stabilized and does not go from 4.50 to 5.50 over a month and teeter-totter all over the place over short periods of time. It adds too many problems when trying to sell goods for constant prices.

Not saying there wouldn't be ways around this, but that's what being an entrepreneur would be all about. Currently, not many think it can be done, or it's not a worthwhile venture. I guarantee you though, it's not because it's not worth enough - it's because it has not truly stabilized yet (yes, I believe it will settle down one day). When it does, I'm sure we'll see some activity from some of the more cautious entrepreneurs Smiley

stable prices definitely help businesses.  a payment that drops 20% in an hour because some people got zhoutonged does not help the average business at all.
