Darn it! Can I just like solder them together Huh
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

really doubt it man, not and have it last

where are you located?  I got 3 E salvage shops within 15 minutes where I could get a plain jane optic drive for $15-$20 , is this really a problem?  How old are you?
This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Pm'ed! And I'm not sure if I want to fix it though, since the cost of replacement parts (roughly $120) would almost be half the price of the laptop (somewhere around $300).
Would you still recommend getting it fixed?

considering that i got a 3rd gen i5 ultrabook for $300 in june.. i'd say buy a new computer. you have to find the good deals tho.

For replacing the screen, sometimes it can be a bit of a hassle so it might be good to consult an assembly manual just in case.

I found this manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02623161.pdf . Display removal is on page 76. Hopefully this helps!
