Oh shit...I slept through the great crash. It has already recovered. If Bitcoin crashes 800 to 400 and then recovers back to 800 while I am sleeping, did it really happen? |

You guys this might just be the start, I never dream about bitcoin but last night I saw bitcoin crash down to around 400-500 for a few days then spike up past 1000 |

i freaked out and sold a large portion of my coins around $600, suspecting the price would continue to oscillate between $400-700 for a couple weeks... (i know)
do I
A) wait it out hoping for a better price to get back in
B) take a loss and buy back in at $750

For now, this capitulation started slowly, and it will take some time to gain downward momentum. It's not an April 10th style of crash, there aren't yet enough coins for sale to trigger a mass panic sale. Give it time, IMO it will take several more days. I can't say anything specific, because bitcoincharts is down since yesterday, and I need it to figure out what can happen next. |
