I opened a new account at Bittrex. Here I want to deposit some coins / tokens. Problems with my account or problem I am doing. Repeatedly failing.
The way I am doing it is
1. Make Deposit

2. Deposit New address

3. Error Generating Address

They are saying "Your account must be verified to deposit, trade, or withdraw."

My question, How to verified my account. And will be able to deposit, trade, or withdraw.

Just go to Settings > My Profile (on the right pane of the page) > Complete the form first
For a more detailed instruction, visit Creating a Bittrex Account and Performing Verification

If you passed the Basic Verification (which is the form afaik) then you're good to go, otherwise, you need to proceed to Enhanced Verification (ID and Selfie Verification). For others, Enhanced Verification takes only a few minutes, while some took days and months.

Read more of Why is it important to verify your identity? for the limits.

Yeah right, but are you have verified the email? Because to my knowledge if you have verified email, then to do generating can be done, but if you have verified email and then still can not do generating, then you should do the enhanced verification.

I would suggest to not use Bittrex unless you have and willing to verify your account using your document such as Passport or ID Card.
If I'm not wrong, in order to be able to generate deposit address on Bittrex you just need to confirm your email and phone number.
But, in order to withdraw you need to verify again using document I mentioned above.

I suggest not using bittrex under any circumstances even if you are willing to verify your account. there are other good exchanges like Binance that you can always use without the dirty history that bittrex has. my philosophy is that when someone (like bittrex owners) scams people once they will do it again if they get the chance to and I am not willing to give it to them.

There definitely are a lot complaints about Bittrex and their way of operating, but thus far there hasn't been any case of actual scam that I know of. In most cases people call everything a scam when they have a problem.

In the same way a lot other exchanges have to deal with scam accusations as well, but there is no such a thing as a scam until it's actually a scam. Can you point me to a link where what you are referring to is being discussed?

I am using Bittrex too from time to time, and that far before they became as strict as they are right now, but luckily haven't had any problems. The only annoying thing I had to deal with is severely lower withdrawal limits.

Since bittrex is a US-based cryptocurrency exchange, it is subject to US law(the 1031 Exchange law and taxes laws).
As scam increases, the need to impose more restrictions on account creation is an initial solution to reduce this illegal activity.
Not just exchange platforms but even online sellers "localbitcoin" requests for documents before trading.
I believe that you should verify your account before start trading "selling," but there is no need when you withdraw because you will return to the financial system that requires authentication/verify anyway

Yeah, don't use bittrex at all. Their verification process was an absolute pain in the ass, borderline a scam making hundreds of thousands wait for months to get verified not to mention the countless disabled accounts for no reason. Their support system was absolutely horrible, I just don't trust them and always remember that history tends to repeat itself.

It's actually a positive change.

Previously, they didn't have this warning and allowed people to deposit without having a verified account, yet they denied their withdrawal requests when they tried to withdraw and that caused some outrage. So now if you want to deposit any sum of money at all to their site you would need to verify your account at least to the basic level.

So if you want to use Bittrex, you have to verify yourself. Verification can be obtained by going to settings and clicking on complete verification. Otherwise you are unable to do anything, as the warning says. But expect delays, since the reviews for their verification process definitely isn't positive.

Try binance, if you want a low limit for deposits and withdrawal without verification.

Do you have any proofs that they really scammed someone? Because I'm using them for quite some time and so far never faced any issues like what you mentioned above.

Did they scam someone already or you're assuming that they can misuse your personal data in future?

Yes, when we give our data online always there is concern that someone can misuse it. I got a fully verified account with them and my trading over there going quite smooth.

I know what you are talking about. it usually is like that, some people have their deposit stuck then they start calling it scam. but in case of Bittrex it is much worse.
you can visit the announcement topic of Bittrex and see the last 50 pages of people complaining https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463202.0 and also see the trust rating of the owner of bittrex here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=96390
it is not just newbies complaining!

long story short is that Bittrex told people from certain countries explicitly that they had no problems with them trading on their platform so these people made deposits and have been trading with no issues for years. then suddenly without any warnings or any prior news or anything at all, they changed this policy and blocked accounts of all these users and by doing that they effectively broke their promise and stole all their funds. thousands of users were affected by this and the total is in millions of dollars worth of bitcoin and altcoins.

I am the breathing proof, really.

As Pursuer stated, they suddenly locked thousands of accounts, including mine. I wouldn't go as far to say that they stole the funds, but they indeed made them inaccessible without any warning (AFAIAA).

The only way to get them back is to give them all my information, eg. passport etcetera. Which i'm really not comfortable with, since who knows what they'll suddenly do with that huh.
So, my funds are just stuck there now.

I wasn't even from any of these "Certain" countries, just EU.

In comparison,  Poloniex gave a 120 day warning to withdraw, and even after that period, you would still be able to withdraw, just not trade/deposit.

My question, How to verified my account. And will be able to deposit, trade, or withdraw.

Sometimes even with account verified (basic to enhanced) still that problem about generating new address occurs. My theory is, it's not automated and Bittrex staffs or any people concerned have to do it manually. But since no doubts there are lots of tickets, you might ended up waiting for long.

You have 2 choices:

1. Proceed with verification and expect that it will automatically solved your problem once being verified (it takes time).

2. Used other exchanges that also lists your preferred coins.

If you still want to used Bittrex for your long term trades and it's fine for you to wait (with no such annoying thing on Bittrex part) then choose no. 1 and keep us updated here.

you are right about everything. I should just add that they "downgraded" every account to basic for every user from every country but they downgraded and disabled and ignored pleas from people in "certain" countries, effectively stole their money.

I did not think it would be verified. After watching your information, I'm sure and try to verify the account. But a problem, I used the pseudonym when opening an account. They are asking the original identification card upload. After upload my ID, my account will be verified or not?
