The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

you got to be kidding..really?

sure you guys weren't missing something?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Sadly, no.  Broke three bits off and strip out a lot of screws.

funny, all they had for so long was a box of fans...and then it turns out the box of fans is crap also?

The exact same thing happened to me.  BFL used the cheapest Chinese torx screws.  Stripped a damn good amount.
