Hello, I joined this forum to check out all of the cool currency information. Also, this person named minerbug had a question in one of the forums I was going to answer for that person, but I am unable to post. So hopefully you get this message.
Here is the post I am referring to:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321266.msg3691792#msg3691792This was the person's question: "my wallet says that there's no block source, hes not connecting. what should i do?"
From the website (
http://betacoin.org/downloads), do this:
In GUI Client after first start go to the console and type:
addnode 76.74.177.244 onetry
You could also make sure you have set your config up correctly as shown on the website. That will fix your issue. It fixed mine. I accidentally called my configuration file betacoin.config instead of betacoin.conf. I then was having the same issue as minerbug.
I ran the command "addnode 76.74.177.244 onetry" and it fixed my issue. I later found that I had named my file incorrectly.
Hope that helps minerbug
Also, if there is someone else that can actually post response for me to
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321266.msg3691792#msg3691792, that would be great. Or if you could PM minerbug, I'm sure that would help that person out.
