I am curious how you guys all are converting your BTC to your local currency?
At some point I am going to want to start converting BTC to fiat and I am not sure of the best way to do that.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

if you don't want to go through the hassle of a traditional exchange, you could buy gift cards for something you would have otherwise bought with fiat, such as for amazon. you get 3% cashback, which is a great deal imo.
or you could sell via localbitcoins, person-to-person.

so they are monetized by definition

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Don't monetize, they are gonna rise more
That's assuming you have access to regular cash flows in fiat

I don't sell my BTC, simply because i assume more people want BTC than to get rid of it. In other words: the price will rise. So selling now would not be a good idea.
