As we all know that bitcoin is the king of the crypto universe because it is the first and original cypto currency, and it is undeniably responsible for the invention of blockchain technology, because of the discovery of blockchain technology which is the main reason of the growth of the alternative coins, altcoins are generally defined as “bitcoin alternative."
No wonder if in the end bitcoin is often mentioned as the parent/pioneer of cryptocurrency. But based on its original purpose, the alternative bitcoin was created as a cryptocurrency that would correct the deficiencies that exist in bitcoin, such as slow transactions, high transaction costs to be incurred, and other shortcomings. Even when experts/investors analyze, not a few of them are using bitcoin as a benchmark for Alt-Coin's growth.
